Information we collect
When you join the waitlist
The email address you submit. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may also process limited technical data, such as your IP address and browser user agent, to deliver and secure the site.
When you use Pitchref (once the product is live)
- Account details you provide, such as your name, email, and organisation.
- The API keys, cloud credentials, and email-account credentials you choose to connect ("bring your own keys"). These are encrypted and used only to operate the campaigns you ask us to run. On the free tier, your campaigns run on your own cloud infrastructure, and certain credentials, such as short-lived cloud tokens, are used only for the moment of a request and are never stored by us.
- Campaign data you create, such as target domains, prospect contacts, message content, and send and reply history.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you do not upload them.
How we use your information
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To run the outreach campaigns you configure.
- To contact waitlist members about launch and early access.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (waitlist sign-up and marketing), performance of a contract (operating the service for you), and our legitimate interests (securing and improving the service). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run Pitchref, such as our hosting and infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and, where you choose to use them, the email providers and APIs you connect. These providers process data on our or your behalf under appropriate agreements.
Retention
We keep waitlist emails until launch and until you have had the chance to opt in or out, or until you ask us to delete them. Account and campaign data is kept while your account is active and for as long as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by law.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses minimal local storage to remember that you have joined the waitlist, and our provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance. We do not use advertising cookies.
International transfers
Our infrastructure may process data in different locations. Where personal data leaves your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the relevant standard contractual clauses.
