Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Pitchref. By joining the waitlist or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Pitchref.
1. What Pitchref is
Pitchref is a citations and backlink outreach agent. You connect your own API keys, cloud, and email accounts ("bring your own keys"), and Pitchref helps you qualify targets, find contacts, and run outreach campaigns. You remain in control of your own infrastructure and credentials.
2. Pre-launch status
Pitchref is in a pre-launch and early-access phase. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", and may change, be interrupted, or be temporarily unavailable. Features described on our site are subject to change before and after launch.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use Pitchref, including:
- Complying with all applicable laws on electronic outreach and marketing, such as the GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar, and with the terms of the email providers and APIs you connect.
- The content of the messages you send and the accuracy of the claims you make.
- Contacting only recipients you are permitted to contact, and honouring opt-out requests.
- The costs of the third-party APIs, email accounts, and cloud resources you bring.
You must not use Pitchref for spam, harassment, deception, or any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or end access for misuse.
4. Your credentials and data
You authorise Pitchref to use the credentials you connect solely to operate the campaigns you configure. You keep ownership of your data, contacts, and content. We handle credentials as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Plans and payment
Free-tier usage runs on your own cloud at no charge from us, beyond the third-party costs you bring. Managed and partner engagements are billed by invoice on the terms agreed with you.
6. Intellectual property
Pitchref, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by us. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform except as expressly permitted, for example under a whitelabel partner agreement.
7. No guaranteed results
Pitchref does not guarantee any specific ranking, citation, placement, reply, or business result. Outreach outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pitchref is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or reputation arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using Pitchref at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pitchref is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
