The most common question we get: what's the catch with the free tier?

There isn't one, and the reason is architectural. Pitchref's free tier doesn't run on our servers — it deploys to your own Cloudflare account, sends from your own email accounts, and keeps your data with you. Our marginal cost when you run a campaign is zero, so we don't have to charge you to cover it.

What the free tier is

The full citation outreach loop, run by the agent: discover the pages AI engines cite in your category, qualify targets, extract contacts, write and send pitches, follow up on a cadence, cancel the moment someone replies, and surface the conversations that need your judgment. Driven from Claude via MCP, with an analytics dashboard for the history. Unlimited campaigns, unlimited pitches, unlimited email accounts. Why free works for us

We make money where people want to pay: done-for-you campaigns run by us, and whitelabel partnerships where agencies resell the managed service under their own brand. The free tier is how the product proves itself — no trial clock, no card, no "contact sales" wall. If the agent wins you citations, some of you will want the every-channel managed version, and some of you run agencies that will want to offer it to clients. Why BYOK matters more than the price

"Free" is the headline, but bring-your-own-keys is the point. Outreach lives on your domain reputation and your relationships — assets you shouldn't rent from a vendor. When the sending accounts, the infrastructure, and the data are yours, switching costs are honest ones: you can leave and lose nothing but the agent.
